In support of the Department of Homeland Security’s Cyber Security Division under the newly created Cyber and Infrastructure Security Agency, Perspecta provides specialized security services to support the Department’s critical cyber programs. The National Cybersecurity Protection System (NCPS), also known as the EINSTEIN set of capabilities, is an integrated system of intrusion detection, analytics, intrusion prevention, and information sharing capabilities that defend the federal executive branch civilian government’s IT infrastructure from cyber threats. The Enhanced Cybersecurity Services (ECS) program is a key avenue through which DHS fulfills its mission to protect U.S. based public and private entities from cybersecurity threats. ECS provides intrusion prevention capabilities that help U.S.-based companies protect their computer systems against unauthorized access, exploitation, and data exfiltration.


In support of these efforts, our Program Schedule Manager shall be responsible for working closely with the management team to ensure all requirements are accurately reflective in this overall schedule. Additionally, the position will be responsible for consistent and timely communications with briefers to ensure their presentation material is available for review by senior leadership prior to the meeting. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Formulates, organizes, and monitors interconnected projects
  • Develops and delivers Work Breakdown Structure
  • Develops and delivers Integrated Master Schedule
  • Participates in schedule management process to ensure the Government is properly prepared to make decisions at the program and project level
  • Work closely with Program Management to develop and maintain detailed Agile-type schedules for high visibility program
  • Integrate multiple schedules into a master project schedule by taking all stakeholder requirements and available resources into consideration
  • Support program management in the tracking, analysis and reporting of stakeholder projects/programs
  • Identify major milestones, decision points, project lifecycle, dependencies and other project events
  • Perform project progress monitoring to identify critical activities
  • Monitor potential scheduling constraints and issues related to multiple dependencies
  • Develop and maintain summary level schedule reports to be provided to Program Management
  • Develop schedule version control processes, policies, and procedures and ensure that they are followed
  • Work in collaboration with Program Management and stakeholders to drive consistency of the project scheduling approach to facilitate accuracy in project reporting
  • Assist Program Management with evaluating schedule impacts
  • Assist in defining and implementing management processes and procedures regarding scheduling conflicts/changes
  • Facilitate and participate in periodic schedule reviews; create bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for internal and external oversight boards in conjunction with the Acquisition SI the Requirements Project Manager.


  • BS 2-4 Years, MS 0-2 or HS 8-10 and/or 2+ years of experience as Program Scheduling Manager or related field and experience
  • Knowledge of Government security requirements, processes and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to use MS Office Suite to include Word, PowerPoint, and Excel and Microsoft Project.
  • Communication skills, both written and oral.
  • A U.S. Government SECRET security clearance – must be a US Citizen.
